How we use cookies and tracking technologies

Last updated: February 2026
Summary: This Cookie Policy explains how Sclubber uses cookies and similar technologies on the Sclubber website, mobile application, and related digital interfaces. This Cookie Policy forms part of, and should be read together with, our Privacy Policy.

1. Preamble

This Cookie Policy explains how Sclubber LLC (hereinafter – Sclubber, we, us, our) uses cookies and similar technologies on the Sclubber website, mobile application, and related digital interfaces (collectively – the Platform). This Cookie Policy forms part of, and should be read together with, our Privacy Policy available at https://sclubber.com/privacy.html.

Cookies and similar technologies help us deliver core functionality, maintain security, understand how the Platform is used, and, where enabled, deliver and measure advertising.

2. Policy Objective and Scope

This Cookie Policy applies when you visit our website, use our mobile application, interact with our content, or otherwise access the Platform.

This Cookie Policy does not cover third-party websites or services that may be linked from the Platform. Third parties may set their own cookies or similar technologies, subject to their own policies.

Where the laws of Georgia requires consent for certain cookies or similar technologies, Sclubber will request such consent through a cookie banner, preference centre, device permission prompt, or comparable mechanism.

3. What Cookies and Similar Technologies Are

Cookies are small text files stored on your browser or device when you access a website or use certain online services. Cookies may be set by Sclubber (first-party cookies) or by third parties whose services we use (third-party cookies).

Similar technologies may include, without limitation:

  • pixels or web beacons;
  • local storage and session storage;
  • mobile device identifiers (such as advertising identifiers);
  • SDK technologies embedded in mobile applications; and
  • server-side log identifiers used for security and session management.

4. How and Why We Use Cookies and Similar Technologies

Sclubber uses cookies and similar technologies for the following categories of purposes. Some of these are strictly necessary for the Platform to function and cannot be switched off without materially impacting services.

5. Third-Party Cookies and Similar Technologies

Some features of the Platform may rely on third-party services that place cookies or similar technologies on your device. Sclubber does not control the operation of third-party cookies.

Third parties that may set cookies or similar technologies in connection with Platform functionality may include, without limitation:

  • analytics providers;
  • payment service providers and fraud prevention providers (where relevant for transaction flows);
  • customer support and communication providers;
  • advertising partners, where enabled and consented.

6. Cookie Duration

Session technologies operate only during your active browsing session and typically expire when you close your browser or the session ends.

Persistent technologies remain stored on your device until they expire or you delete them. The duration depends on the purpose and configuration. By way of indication, retention may include:

  • authentication/session continuity: up to 30 days;
  • preference storage: up to 12 months;
  • analytics identifiers: up to 12 months;
  • marketing identifiers: up to 12 months.

These periods may vary depending on technical needs, legal requirements, and provider configurations.

7. Examples of Technologies We May Use

The names of cookies and similar identifiers may change as we update systems, vendors, and configurations. Typical examples may include identifiers for:

  • session management (e.g., session identifiers);
  • authentication tokens;
  • security tokens (e.g., CSRF protection);
  • language/display preferences; and
  • analytics identifiers (e.g., "_ga" or equivalent, depending on the analytics configuration).

Sclubber may maintain an updated list or summary of cookies and SDKs in a preference centre or support page available at https://portal.sclubber.com/cookie-policy.

8. Your Choices and Controls

8.1 Cookie Preference Centre

Where available, you may manage cookie categories through the Platform settings or preference centre at: https://portal.sclubber.com/. This typically allows you to accept or refuse non-essential categories (functional, analytics, marketing), subject to local law.

8.2 Browser Controls (Website)

Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies through settings. If you block strictly necessary cookies, certain Platform features may not function correctly (including login and bookings). You may also delete existing cookies at any time through your browser.

8.3 Mobile Application Controls

Mobile operating systems may allow you to limit ad tracking, reset advertising identifiers, and manage permissions (including location permissions). You may control these through your device settings.

8.4 Withdrawal of Consent

Where consent is required and you have provided it, you may withdraw consent at any time via the preference centre or device settings. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before withdrawal.

8.5 Third-Party Opt-Out Options

Some third-party providers offer opt-out mechanisms. Sclubber may list common opt-outs, however, the availability and operation of these mechanisms remain the responsibility of the third parties.

9. Consequences of Disabling Cookies

If you disable or block strictly necessary technologies, the Platform may not operate properly, and key functions may become unavailable, including account login, security protection, booking flows, and transaction processing.

If you disable functional technologies, preferences may not be saved and the experience may be less personalised.

If you disable analytics technologies, Sclubber may have reduced ability to analyse performance, detect errors, and improve user experience.

If you disable marketing technologies, you may still see advertisements, but they may be less relevant and not personalised based on your interactions.

10. Do Not Track Signals

Some browsers transmit "Do Not Track" signals. The Platform does not currently respond to DNT signals in a uniform manner. You should use the preference controls described in this Cookie Policy to manage tracking preferences.

11. Legal Basis for Using Cookies

Strictly necessary technologies are used because they are required to provide the Platform and protect its security and integrity.

Functional, analytics, and marketing technologies are used based on consent where required by applicable law, and otherwise in accordance with lawful bases permitted by applicable data protection rules, taking into account the nature of the technology and the context of use.

Where consent is required, the Platform will not place or activate the relevant non-essential technologies unless and until you provide consent.

12. Children

The Platform is not directed to children. Sclubber does not knowingly use non-essential cookies or similar technologies to track Users under 16 without appropriate consent mechanisms, where required. Strictly necessary technologies may still be used for authentication, security, and age-gating controls.

13. Changes to This Cookie Policy

Sclubber may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. The updated version will be published on the Platform with a revised "Last updated" date. Where required by law, Sclubber may also provide notice via the Platform or other appropriate channels.
