What is facility booking on Sclubber?

Sclubber's facility booking module lets sports clubs and studios sell time-slot access to their venues — tennis courts, football pitches, yoga rooms, swim lanes, padel courts, and other multi-unit facilities. Members browse availability on a calendar, book a slot, and pay online (card, Apple Pay, or Google Pay) or in-club. Each facility supports multi-unit availability (for example, five padel courts that can be booked concurrently), time-of-day pricing rules, equipment rentals alongside the booking, and weekly availability windows with closure dates for maintenance or holidays. Venue owners manage everything from a single web dashboard or the mobile app, with bookings feeding into live calendars, payment reconciliation, and member history.

Set a base price per slot, then layer on rules. Weekday evenings (6pm–9pm) at €25/hr, Saturday mornings at €20/hr, off-peak hours at €15/hr — all on one screen. Individual courts can override the base price too: court 1 (premium, covered, new surface) at €30/hr while courts 2–5 are €20/hr. Changes apply instantly to new bookings.

Facility bookings — questions people ask

Does Sclubber work for padel courts?
Yes. Padel centers use Sclubber to manage multi-court availability, peak/off-peak pricing (weekday evenings vs. weekend mornings), equipment rental (rackets, balls), and tournaments (americano, round robin, mixed doubles). See our dedicated padel booking software page for details.
Can I run a tennis club on Sclubber?
Yes. Tennis clubs run both court bookings and coaching sessions side-by-side: hourly court rentals for members and non-members, plus recurring classes and private lessons from their head coach. Court types (clay, hard, grass) can be tagged, and member/non-member pricing applies separately.
Does Sclubber support football/futsal pitches?
Yes. Football and futsal pitches book like any other time-slot facility. Team-based bookings, field splitting (half-pitch vs full-pitch pricing), and equipment add-ons (balls, vests) are supported out of the box.
Can members book recurring slots (e.g., every Tuesday at 7pm)?
Bookings are per-slot. For recurring training sessions, use the Classes & Trainings module instead — it supports recurring patterns (daily, weekly, biweekly, monthly, up to 52 occurrences) with automatic member enrollment.
Can I offer different prices for members vs. non-members?
On the Pro plan you can set member-only pricing on specific facilities or time slots. Non-members see standard pricing; members see their discounted rate after login.
What happens if a member cancels?
Each facility has a selectable cancellation policy (Flexible, Moderate, Strict, or Non-Refundable). Refunds are processed automatically for online payments per the policy. In-club payments are handled directly with the member.
Do you support variable duration slots (30 / 60 / 90 minutes)?
Yes. Each facility has a default slot duration and members can book consecutive slots. Pricing scales with duration automatically.
Can I offer equipment rental alongside the booking?
Yes. Attach rental items (rackets, balls, shoes, vests) to a booking with per-item inventory tracking. The rental fee is added to the total at checkout.
How do I block dates for maintenance?
The facility has a Closures tab. Add a date range with a reason (maintenance, tournament, holiday). Members see the closure message when trying to book during that window.
